Inky dark black core with a purple hue. Intense nose, fine toastiness, mocha, oak and butterscotch with ripe dark fruit, cassis and blackberry. Very dense palate, intense and ample with layers of dark fruit, very high extract but ripe and polished with fine oak, a fresh acidity, layers of spicy dark fruit followed by a very long and dense finish. Youthful and massively structured and very potent.Drink:2022’-2034’

Under the same ownership as the Rothschild property Château Clarke in Moulis, this estate predominately grows Merlot. This wine comes from a selected parcel that gives rich, intense and concentrated fruitiness and dense tannins. It shows a lightly burnt character from the wood aging but the blackberry fruits are dominant and ripe. Drink from 2021. |

愛德蒙羅斯柴爾德集團 (Lafite) 的班傑明男爵, 於2003年買下了佔地95公頃的羅黑塔城堡, 莊園跨越兩個聖愛美濃衛星法定產區Puisseguin-Saint-Émilion與Montagne-Saint-Émilion, 其中50公頃座落Puisseguin-Saint-Émilion的園地經過一番整治後, 隔年開始釀造波爾多右岸最優質的Merlot.
從北方的公園俯瞰羅黑塔城堡, 能夠見證這間在1860年代間建造的宏偉莊園, 獨特建築體的外觀有座八角中央塔. 葡萄園都在坡上面南方, 還可以看到裸露的石灰岩土壤, 正因為莊園裡絕佳的粘土石灰岩風土, 造就這地區典型強勁有力的梅洛!
2015年, 酒莊選用莊園裡最好的葡萄園地塊, 約4公頃的園地, 平均樹齡超過25年的梅洛, 釀製出這款百分百 Merlot 的旗艦紅酒. 深紅色的外表, 展現成熟水果香, 如紅色漿果及黑櫻桃. 多層次的香氣散發出辛香料味, 還有大地氣息. 入口酒質圓熟, 酒體飽滿細膩, 單寧細滑, 尾韻甘口, 目前剛開始進入適飲期.
