The 2010 Sancerre reveals notes of freshly mowed grass intermixed with hints of lemon zest and ripe melon presented in a crisp, fresh, naked, medium-bodied style. Drink it over the next 1-2 years.
Tinel Blondelet, a well-known and highly respected estate, has produced three meritorious cuvees.
Our Sancerre White is produced from the area known as Blanc Gateaux (white cakes) which explains the very pebbly character of the soil on this hillside, like a multi-layered cake of limestone and flint. This type of soil enables the production of a bright pale golden wine with green highlights. Dry and fruity it expresses all its finesse in its young years.
